Our Story

Our Journey

2023

Alliance Founded

Launched Ushirikka Youth Coffee Alliance in Kampala, training 30 youths, helping 20 establish farms, and supporting 5 to start export companies.

2024

First Training & Exports

Established 50 youth-led farms, trained 20+ baristas, supported 10 local coffee brands, and completed the first youth-grown coffee export.

2025

Youth Cooperative Formation

Legalized our operations, reached 1,000+ youths, supported 50+ to maintain their farms, and formed the first youth-led coffee cooperative.

2026

Scaling Impact

Plan to establish a 100-acre farm, support 20,000 youths across the coffee value chain, create regional hubs, and train youth farmer support agents.

Quality From the Start

Grading and care at every stage of the harvest.

Quality control isn't an afterthought for our members; it's built into the process from the first sort. Every batch is graded by hand before it moves further down the chain.
